Not going to lie, having beaten each circuit at least once, I'm...kind of unsure where to go from here, if anywhere. Collecting the remaining gallery options is extremely difficult (that bonus battle is extremely not worth it IMO), and actively discourages me from 100% clearing this game.

I think the game itself is neat, and is very cool in how it is designed, especially after the earlier balance patches, but...there's just not a lot of post-grind content as of RN.

Also wish there were more "extreme/hyper" options for who to go up against; At most, I've dealt with someone who can get up to four uses of BE on them, and that is good, but I wish there were more of them.

Version 1.3 fixes some bugs and adds a new spell (Sweet Release) and a new potion (Cooldown Removal potion). Some archetypes were also rebalanced.

What are the scrolls of unshackling, and what do they do?

the "cheat menu", is that something we learn along the way/through progression, or are we meant to guess them?

You'll learn about most of them. Go in the cheat menu after you've beaten a championship for example, and you'll learn a password that will let you start with the championship beaten and some credits from a fresh file. Useful if you didn't keep a save of your file.

Some are more hidden and can be ''guessed''.

Not balanced, I paid attention to the tutorial and varied up my moves a lot but still lost most fights. Also all the expansion stuff seems gated to later progression, which, when I am unable to win fights, makes it basically inaccessible. Needs a balance re-work, and in my opinion, for some of the expansion stuff to be relevant earlier. But there is a lot of content so this is still an impressive release!

Thank you for your input. I rebalanced it in v1.1 so that almost all moves cost less SP to use and the expansion spells now lower the opponent's attack and resistance in addition to what it did before.

The game should be a bit easier now and more enjoyable.

It's always hard for a creator to balance his own game. We tend to think the game is easier than what it really is.

Try v1.2.

I rebalanced some archetypes so that they have better synergies with their starting moves and I lowered the amount of attack and resistance the opponent can gain when it is early in the fights.

Definitely a lot more balanced following the changes, still challenging but I was winning more fights than I was losing. Thanks for being receptive to feedback!
